Pleasant summer weather this week; Higher temps from the weekend

A high-pressure area will ensure plenty of sunshine and pleasant temperatures, often reaching summer levels of 25 degrees, in the Netherlands this week. From the weekend, the weather will turn hotter, but should remain sunny and dry, according to Buienradar on RTL Nieuws.

Monday will be predominantly sunny, with some cumulus clouds inland. Afternoon temperatures will vary from 19 degrees along the northwestern coast and 25 degrees in the southeast, with moderate wind from the northwest.

Tonight will see mostly clear skies, with some cirrus clouds in the northeast. Minimums will drop to between 10 and 15 degrees, with little wind expected.

The rest of the week will look much the same. Tuesday will have a lot of sun, with some cumulus clouds passing over the country from inland. Temperatures will climb from 22 degrees near the sea to 28 degrees in the south and east.

The weekend will be warmer, with tropical temperatures – maximums above 30 degrees Celsius – forecast for the south and southeast. At this stage, little to no rain is expected.
