Summer McIntosh authored more history at Canadian swimming trials in Victoria on Wednesday, breaking her own world record in the women’s 400-metre individual relay.
The 18-year-old from Toronto touched the wall in a time of 4 minutes, 23.65 seconds, eclipsing her previous record of 4:24.38, set at last year’s national trials.
McIntosh now lays claim to each of the top three results in the 400m IM’s history.
